We look back on the first year that our IndexReloaded plugin has been available on wordpress.org and thus for WordPress.
Key figures and utilisation
During this time, 10 new versions of the plugin have been released, and we are currently on version 1.2.4.
The plugin has been downloaded 1650 times from wordpress.org. After the release of version 1.2.4. we saw 25 immediate downloads.
On https://wordpress.org/plugins/indexreloaded/advanced/ you can see the key figures for the plugin, but the fact that the statistics on Active Versions are displayed with ‘no data yet’ and that ‘Fewer than 10’ is also written for Active installations is still a bit puzzling to us.
No licence packages were sold on our website during this period. However, we were able to pass on around 20 free trial licences.
IndexReloaded, whose great strength is the creation of error-free Critical CSS … which can only be activated in a licensed version … the market has not really understood this after a year. We are working on it 🙂
Increase in spam and scam
We have noticed that the amount of spam and the number of scam attempts via our website has increased massively. For example, AI-generated comments are being made on news articles, which are then linked to scam websites … etc.
In other words, if anyone needs a security expert for running websites, get in touch with me – I can certainly help.
